Senayit Tomlinson

    A New York City native, Senayit has traveled around the world playing venues from Costa Rica to Rome, Italy. Her name originates from Ethiopia, and it means happiness and light. Senayit plays only her own original music which has been categorized recently as Americana.
    Senayit met Carl Dexter of Dream Kitchen Studios in Olympia, WA. They began working on her first cdin the fall of 1998, and have produced 5 cd's since then and are working on a sixth called "In The Dark" which will be released in May of 2010.
She has performed in venues around the world and is currently booking performances across the United States, and Canada.
    She is currently living and performing in the North East and performs regularly at local venues like "The Green House", "Middle Earth", "Salt Hill", "Langdon Street cafe", and "The Hog Farm".
